Anyone know the best shag area rug to purchase..I’ve heard wool shed too much. How about nylon or acrylic?

100% nylon is your best overall bet. Almost (almost) impossible to wear out nylon. Now the flip side.. Your stain protection is good on the nylons. But the acrylics and polyesters are natural stain blockers in it. The fibers are softer in these other fibers though.. You make the call as to you know where your putting this rug. GL
