How do you keep a layer of wool and other hair collecting waste?

I have a beautiful black wool coat full length continuously collects debris and hair of both me and my pets. Whenever I meet a lint remover on the end of the day, but it gets annoying. Is there any way to avoid so stick to my coat? Thanks!

As far as I know no way to prevent it from happening. I always hang my coat when not in me and make sure lint roll in the morning before leaving to make sure it looks good. But I do not think there are many other things you can do.
