I have the above floor cleaner and when I first got it, worked fine…the last couple times I have used it when its set to carpet, then it starts out working fine and then starts making a very weird sound (like it may be “eating”: something, like it gets stuck in a position) but the roller bar is clear. i shut it off, start it again and it works fine for a few more minutes the the cycle starts over.
As I said this only happens when it is set to carpet mode, for bare floors and to use the hose it works fine. think is when I try to do the carpets on bare floor mode it wont pick up anything 9not sure how it knows since it does pick up on bare floors) but in any case
Yes I bought it new (well it was on clearance)…no I didnt fill out the warranty card (I was in a transitional period and actually it stayed in my storage facility for about 6 months) and then when I started to use it it would have been past the waaranty period anyway(give or take a couple months).
anyone have fix?
sounds like the belt is slipping
