The Shag Rug Company

Any opinions on carpets?!?
I'm considering buying a new Shag carpet for my living room … How durable are they? Is it worth worth cleaning? Any suggestions for a good company to buy? Any advice on cleaning?! Thank you all!
You might consider a frieze in place of the old bear, and definitely buy the best quality nylon. Do not even consider the "pop bottle carpet for a living. They're horrible to the mat – good for color retention and stain resistance but are more suitable for low traffic areas. Buying a dense hair and a good quality pad – Do not just go with the free book sometimes included with the carpet. I suggest you speak with an interior decorator – if they have been in business a while with good contacts and can negotiate a good price, beware of the big chains and big box stores, their appeal is convenience, not necessarily of quality when it comes to carpets.
