Rug Cinnamon
has anyone used the valspar paint that you add granite crystals?
I have a sample of Cinnamon gold that matches my living room rug and am considering it. The paint has the texture of sandpaper and we figure it will help hide flaws in the sheet rock. Any one tried it?
My wife and I used it in our Great Room with a Chocolate Brown and really like it. However, like the other response above, small imperfections and even drywall patches show up (could be the dark color not the crystals) . If we were to do it again, I would have put a rough mud over all the walls first… that would really bring out the shimmer because of all the angles. Oh, it is also nice because it is not to strong… you only notice it when you hit the right angle to the wall with lights, so I looks nice as you walk by it.
