Red Shag Rugs
How does the timing of reacting to pollen work?
Today I took a couple Claritin 30 minutes before leaving the house b/c of the high pollen count. When I was out I had very little allergic reactions — a little sneezing and runny nose. I got home about 4 hours later — with a shag rug that I had purchased.
But at 10 PM i started to have typical allergic reactions, stuffy nose, red eyes, runny nose, etc. Do you think the shag rug is the problem, or is it that I was exposed to the pollen during the day and now that the Claritin is wearing off, I’m reacting.
i guess i’m not being clear, i’ve been an allergy sufferer for quite a while, i’m just wondering how it works for this 1 day, given my specific scenario.
Also i Know i’m allergic to tree pollen.
You need to keep taking the Claritin,regularly,as it is the time of year for allergies of all sorts.This goes on unill June usually.But don’t cut back on medication,because in the long-run you will suffer badly and end up taking twice the doseage.
