What kind of rug would be better to go in my living room?

I have a small living room of 11'5 x 14'0 ". TV / Bookcase cabinet is black like the tables and square coffee table. The sofa and armchair are a velvet type material, dark blue mixed with swirls of light gray, lilac, beige … but the main color is dark blue. I was thinking of a white / white wool rug white (lint wool) carpet in the center of the room, under the coffee table square. Would you suggest a round or rectangular rug? Furthermore, as the size Rug be? The coffee table is about 3 square meters.

Round white rug white wool rug would look great. I would get a that was about 3 '22 "to 5 'through what would be extending a few inches beyond each corner of the coffee table square. I would use some purple throw pillows, a vase or lilac touches to jazz up the room. Sounds like a beautiful space!
