Persian Rug Weight

Should I fire him now?
Recently, this old servant of mine, has started growing enormously fat and this has somewhat rendered him less efficient as well as inconvenient. He is noisy around the house and as of lately, sweats profusely.
I was told his sudden weight gain was attributed to him being depressed over fighting with his wife (who also happens to be in my employ).
If he carries on eating like a ventripotent hog and working below the standards set by the “Lord of the Manor” (me), I will have no choice but to let go of the services of both him and his wife.
I can find servants who don’t sweat, but I can’t remove sweat stains from my persian rugs.
Should I fire him now or give him the weekend to try and lose a few pounds?
Hardly a luciferous answer Lisa.
How awfully droll Teresa!
Good servants are hard to find, ration his staples and have him work as the groundskeeper. Limit his access to power equipment and have him work on the estate with hand tools. This should slim him and more productive in no time.
Cheers!
