Iraq makes millions with their oil output?

If thats true, how come their not helping to pay for this war? If it wasn’t for our troops, the powers that be would NOT be there now. How come they can make all that money and let the tax payers of the US foot the bill? How come out sick government officals are not demanding some type of compensation for out being there which allows the status quo to exsist? I dont get it!!! What are they doing with their oil profits, build new mosques? Buying persian rugs?
I don’t believe I said Persian rugs come from Iran.. relax pal…..take a couple of deep breaths….thats it… in slowly and then out slowly.
“you got what you deserve” well thank you for thinking so highly of me….you must think I’m a very powerful person here in the US and that I make the decision to go to war. MOST people in the US are against the war not for it. Bushes ratings have gone down the toilet because of this.

Iraq makes about 30 billion dollars a year from oil production, but it pretty much all goes to funding the Iraqi government operations (see link). It takes money to run Iraq, just as it does the US, which spends more than 30 times what the Iraqis are spending to run their country. If it weren’t for the money from oil, the US would be spending even more money than they already are keeping Iraq functioning. So actually they are helping to pay for the war.
