Where is a good place to get my wool Persian rug from the Middle East cleaned? Roomie’s dog peed on it!?

My parents bought this rug a long time ago when my dad was in the Navy and we lived in Saudi. It’s wool. It’s been in our family for almost 20 years. I can’t take it to just any cleaner…I know that much. Where can I take here in Austin without them ruining it or making the colors fade or run? Thanks!

I totally understand. I grew up in a house that contained wool Persian rugs…we had to call every carpet cleaner in our area and then some from the next towns to find one who could properly clean it with a guarantee. I suggest you call and talk to the cleaners in your area. It is worth the time and effort to find someone who really knows what they are doing so as not to ruin your carpet.
