How do I get a cat to stop peeing on my outdoor rug?

It’s a wild, outdoor cat that insists on using my door mat for a bathroom. I don’t want to eliminate the rug so is there anything I can put down that will keep it away?

You might want to think of having the rug cleaned. A cat usually keeps going back to the same spot to pee because they have sensitive noses and if they smell it then for some reason they like to use that same spot again.

Otherwise, try orange peel or something citrus.
