Program Objective
Volunteer Society Nepal Volunteer Program is to contribute to sustainable development of underdeveloped Nepalese communities, through projects for children, youth and women. The programs are coordinated through rural schools and government programs based on community, community-based programs often began with the help of VSN, volunteers and community members local.
The Volunteer Program achieves its objective to initiate and / or assist with the sustainable development of community-based project focusing on increasing awareness major local social issues, including education, health and sanitation and conservation.

Why Volunteer in Nepal
Volunteering in Nepal is a once in a lifetime opportunity for everyone who wants a journey significant and bit to make this world a better place for everyone. With numerous volunteer opportunities such as serving poor children and women, teaching languages, working on health projects, conservation work, etc, you get to spend time in three of the bustling cities of Nepal – Kathmandu (Capital), Pokhara and Chitwan. Of course, volunteering in Nepal requires that you be patient, open minded, and humble in the interaction and work with the locals.

Types of projects available

A team of Nepali development workers, social activists and ex-overseas volunteers founded Volunteer Society Nepal in 2004.From the early stages of development, VSN Nepal has been mobilizing international and local volunteers in various programs, providing relevant training and working experience in marginalized communities, and contributing to overall sustainable development efforts in Nepal. Additionally, VSN Nepal has developed a school building construction program to benefit some of these communities, which are often desperately lacking facilities.
