How I can do a Celtic knot by hand or using some wool or string and a hook crochet or knitting needles?

I can not see what if anyone can I mean without reference to a video or an image that is great. I just want to know step by step how to do what you can do one myself. Simple or basic something that does not require a sewing machine. Thanks!

This is a very simple Celtic knot can be made of i-cable. A weave a i0cor, cast on 3 stitches on double point needle.
