Gorgeous Traditional
descriptions of mansions/palaces needed?? PLEASE HELP!?
Alright I’m writing a story and I need 2 palace descriptions and 1 mansion description, for both the inside and the outside.
*Palace 1* Where a prince lives, there is a part in the story where he and a girl are being chased by an evil army and so the description should involve lots of hallways, staircases, etc. The prince is 21 years old.
*Palace 2* Where a princess lives. A balcony should be included. The princess is 18 years old.
*Mansion* Where a witch (not the traditional-looking witch, this witch is gorgeous) and her (hot) warlock brother live. They are both evil. The witch is 21 years old and the warlock is 22 years old. I’ve already decided that the outside is black.
I will be so so so grateful if you guys could give me a hand with this! I am completely stuck because they are all fancy houses so I’m having a difficulty in describing them as looking different from the other two.
Palace 1:
Outside: A long driveway lined with pine trees and glass garden stakes. The garden stakes are made of red crackle glass (look that up to see what it is). Tall, stone towers loom in the distance, past a courtyard filled with fountains (maybe one get broken during a chase?)
Inside: Marble/tile floor. No doors, but archways instead (better for chasing) long hallway leading to the courtyard, followed by just about the longest spiral staircase imaginable. Filled with mosaics on the walls, and ornate ruds and/or carved statues.
Palace 2:
Outside: Many white marble pillars leading to the entrance, and a large wooden double door, pointed at the top. Silver knockers on the door. A long pool arond the walkway leading to the entrance. Lots of cherry blossom trees in the yard. The towers are topped in silver domes (think silver taj mahal)
Inside: Again, mostly white marble, and granite. Third floor balcony that overlooks the front of the palace. It is a half-circle shape and has spiral carved bushes near the door. The door is entirely glass except for the frame.
Mansion:
Outside: Black and mysterious, as you said. Pine or oak trees. A cobblestone walkway leading to the front door. Cage lanterns in the shape of spheres hang next to the door and from the trees.
Inside: Full of many witchy-looking things (cauldrons, wands, spellbooks) and there are three black cats. Mostly made of wood…not a lot of surface area, but rather very tall. Made to resemble an evil castle, with one long, pointed tower in the back, topped with a silver flag.
