What color paint would look best with dark brown furniture in a home office?

We recently bought a home with “unique” taste. I am looking to renovate a bedroom that will become our home office. It used to be an 8 year old’s bedroom with aqua blue walls and a dolphin border.
I am looking for a traditional/contemporary look- crown molding, big dark brown leather chair with ottoman, bookcase, and dark colored desk. There will be a lot of dark wood and dark leather in the room and I would like to pull up the carpet and lay very dark, thick wood flooring. Other than a tasteful colorful rug, what recommendations would you make for wall color, trim/crown molding finish and accent pieces?

I think that you should paint the room like a light brown or tan because this color goes really well with dark brown colors.
