I’m considering to major in Graphic Design, Are Graphic Designers in high demand in the Bay Area?

What kind of salary would I be receiving in the Bay Area with a AA degree in Graphic Design? What type of company would I be working for if i majored in Graphic Design?

With an AA you won’t get a job in it in the Bay Area. My best friend got his AA in it here in the East Bay and hes working fast food. NO JOBS.
