What is your interpretation of this poem.?

Blossoms and patterns grow here.
Words have the scent of roses.
At the touch of a hand some secrets escape,
And the wind in the cypresses remembers a lost love.
From the wiles of its passageways,
Beit-Eddine spies on its valley.
Its walls have wept colors,
And its ceilings sway like fountaining water.
Mornings and ruthless moonlight sleep here.
When something swarms in a courtyard’s nook,
It seems like an arcade in shadow
Or a flight of birds forgotten by light in the gardens.

This is how I imagine life before language was organized.
I remember years ago my 3 year old niece telling me my new infant was a very baby.

When copper hair was really copper. When you uttered a metaphor it became a fact. When magic was possible and walking on thin ice was literally walking on thin ice. When I call my friend a bitch and she barks.

I actually have a friend who claims she sees coloured words and names. She lives life in a colour code. My baby daughter saw people attached to colour. and I see frames around all I look at.

I read this poem and think of The Gabriel Marquez book One Hundred Years of Solitude and Isabelle Allende’s House Of Spirits.The poem is enchanting!
