In fact, many purse hooks are in the shape of an “S”, though often they are kept in the shape of an “O”, which you twist into an “S” shape when you want a hangar for your purse.

Other purse hooks have a flat round piece at the top of the “S”, and this flat circle is what you place on the table or counter. Underneath, the purse hangar has the hook where you hang the purse strap. These purse hooks are often fancy, with the flat round disk containing fashionable artwork, or perhaps your own initials. Purse hooks are very inexpensive, and have rapidly become one of the must-have accessories for women.
