Cotton Shag
Red sheets?
I washed new red sheets and they bled all over a white shag rug. Do I keep washing them until they don’t bleed any longer or is it a lost cause and they will forever bleed? They are Springs brand and 50% poly and 50% cotton , which I think is a good brand. I plan to use them in a quilt that has a cream color in the pattern.
You should never wash anything red with anything white. They shouldn’t bleed unless you wash them. Just wash them alone from now on. As for the rug you can buy a dye remover at a craft store. I think RIT makes it.
