We like lighthouses and that started the theme combining ocean, shells, wicker baskets, and colors that compliment.
We live in the desert, so this type of theme reminds me of my childhood near the beach.

Someday my floors will be light wood (reminder of sand). wainscoting in wood finish and light blue walls.

I would avoid the coral desk and use knobs in a pewter finish. Make sure whatever is on display is stuff that YOU love!
