How do you close out of browsers on blackberry storm?

My boyfriend just got the blackberry storm and he cant figure out how to close out of browser windows

I suspect your confusion / loss of control is due to the normal “close” button is now just backing up to the previous page instead of closing. So, select the menu button next to the green phone button. When you see the menu pop up there will be a lot of options. Use your finger/thumb to push the list up several times. At the bottom is the “Close” menu option. That will close the browser.
