Android Watches: Futuristic Timepieces that Still Stay True to Tradition

The Naval-2 Chronograph was clearly inspired by elegant naval watches and lifestyle. The timeless, yet modern color scheme makes it a wonderful everyday piece. The rugged brown leather strap blends perfectly with the silver-tone case and the gold-tone bezel. The chronograph functions of the watch allow you to use two stopwatch mechanisms without affecting the time-telling capabilities. If you are looking for a watch that features something other than a metal bracelet or a leather strap, the Impetus Chronograph is exactly your style. This watch showcases a practical rubber strap in either black, blue, gray or orange. The watches with the gray and orange straps have a simple white dial, while the black and blue strapped watches have dials the precise shade of their rubber straps. The Impetus is about function. It is water-resistant up to 330 feet, includes a date wheel, a second hand subdial and a chronograph subdial.

The Intercontinental offers stylish choices for any woman you know.  The gold-tone chronograph has a strictly classic look with clean lines and large quarter markers. The leather strap showcases white contrast stitching, which pairs well with either the white or dark green dial. What is modern about it, you ask? The size! The Intercontinental Chronograph has a 37mm case making quite a chunky statement on your wrist! Larger timepieces are often worn by women these days, a look that is versatile enough to be worn either with a suit or jeans.

If you are looking for more modern with a touch of classic tradition, the Intercontinental Automatic fits that bill. It comes in two traditional case choices, black and silver-tone, and four dial color choices, which like the Chronograph, there is contrast stitching on the leather strap. However, here, the stitching matches the dial colors: white, black, burgundy, or blue. Two cutout circles in the dial allow partial sight to the movement, making this watch a blend of a traditional watch and a skeleton watch. For an extra bonus, these watch features an exhibition back allowing all of the movement to be seen from the back.

Another option for women is the watch titled Exotic. This watch features a trendy ceramic bracelet in either, black, white or beige. The cases are also ceramic, matching the bracelets in exact color – except for the beige, which features a burgundy case. Styled classically, this is yet another a watch that can be worn casually or formally. Only the number 12 is present on the dial; the remaining numerals are marked by small silver-tone dot markers. This watch is resistant up to 330 feet.

For the do-it-yourself types, Android offers a tool kit that allows you to adjust your watch perfectly at home. There’s not a need to travel to a jewelry store when you can do everything at home. If you need to tighten or loosen your watch’s bracelet, all the tools are included. The watch case back opener allows you to change your own battery. A magnifying loop is even included to make sure you see what you’re doing!
